A CALL TO SERVE

We are looking for Volunteers in the following roles for all grade levels: 

• Teacher (lead, co-teacher, assistant - teen or adult)
• Substitute Teacher
• Hall Monitor
• Office Helper
• General Volunteer

If you are an adult or teen who loves God, loves the Church, and has a heart for children and youth in our community, God might be calling you to courageously respond to being that vitally important relationship in a young person's life. 

Catechists are not expert teachers or brilliant theologians. They are ordinary people, just like you, who generously volunteer their time to share our Catholic faith, values, and traditions with our youngest generation. They are positive role models who help children grow in faith and spirituality.

Volunteers needed for these Program Days and Times:

ELEMENTARY FAITH FORMATION 

• Children's Faith Formation, Grade K-4 - Sunday 2:30-3:45pm
• Children's Faith Formation, Grade K-5 - Sunday 4:15-5:30pm
• Children's Faith Formation, Grade K-5 - Monday 5:30-6:45pm
• Children's Faith Formation, Grade K-4 - Wednesday 4:45-6:00pm 
• Amazing Grace, Grade 1-12 - Sunday 2:30 or Monday 5:30pm
• Sacrament Preparation Sessions, once a month on Tues and/or Wed 6-7:30pm

The Amazing Grace program needs volunteers for their adaptive needs ministry. If you or a loved one lives with a disability, or if you feel called to serve, we welcome you with open arms. Volunteers usually find that working with this group of children is spiritually rewarding.

JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL

• Youth Ministry - EDGE, Grade 6-7-8:  Sunday 4:15-5:45pm
• Youth Ministry - High School Life Teen, Grade 9-12 - Sunday 7:30-9:00 pm (includes first year of preparation for Confirmation)
•  Youth Ministry - Confirmation Year 2, Grade 10-12: Wednesday 7:00-8:30 PM

Once placed in a program, ALL Teachers (Core Members/Catechists) will be asked to attend Catechist Day on Saturday, September 7. Youth Ministry Core Members will also be asked to complete a REGISTRATION FORM (zero cost) in order to gather other necessary information.

In gratitude for your volunteering as a Catechist or Core Member, you will receive a discount for your child's formation program. 

Discounts for committed weekly volunteers: 

• Children’s Catechist: 50% off Children’s FF (grades K-5), 25% off YM (grades 6-12)*
• Youth Ministry Core: 25% off Children’s FF (grades K-5), 50% off YM (grades 6-12)* 
• Confirmation Core: $75 off Confirmation Year 2, 25% off Children's FF (grades K-5), 50% off for YM (grades 6-12)* 

  
*No discounts for First Reconciliation & Communion Preparation or Confirmation Year 2 Retreat fees.
